New Speed Test Shows That Super-Fast Broadband Does Not Matter Much

A recent study done by a leading speed testing website has concluded that our browsing experience can not be significantly improved by super-fast broadband connections. The research study which based its finding on the results of 200 000 tests being recorded on LoadingTest.com website in the last two months has revealed that the average webpage load time on 8Mb broadband connections is 3.7 seconds, while on 16Mb connections and above it was 3.1 seconds, resulting in a 17% decrease in the waiting time despite the fact that there was a 100% increase in the broadband speed.
